Each halo has been drastically different from the last, singling out 5 simple games mechanics and comparing that alone to another game for a viable, practical comparison is just idiotic. And although this is a matter of opinion the fact anyone could truly believe that any successor in the entire Halo series was better then it's predecessor is just insane to me. The Halo gaming community and Xbox competitive community for that matter is so diluted by these progressively more user friendly games and players that even one of the pioneers of Halo competitive gaming (MLG) and console gaming is main staging a PC GAME, dominated primarily by Korean players none the less. I'm tired of the zombified mass of casual gamers having games made for them (Yes I mean anyone that said Reach>) Also off topic but yes hit-scan and hit-boxes are very important details in the Halo series and if you don't think so then you're most definitely bad.
So if you think you truly have a broad idea of what multiplayer HALO really is then you should have no problem recognizing: XBC, WCG, LAN, TsK, Backpack Reload, Strange Purple, RRXYYRRX, P3 Host, HAVING A STOP WATCH ON YOUR CONTROLLER, What a Ghandi hop really is (Because no it's no just jump hopping up and down)...
Anyway what I'm trying to say is Halo CE>Halo 2>Pouring cereal just to open the fridge and find no milk> Prince of Persia the Disney movie game>Car accidents>Scary spiders>Rotten egg smell>Tranny strippers>Halo 3>Pouring cereal just to open the fridge and find a Tranny stripper had the last of the milk> Halo Reach.
I read this, and I agree with you. Lol.
And yes, I know what all those terms you brought up... I miss backpack reloading the most, because in the later games, reloading your weapon is like putting a toothpick in your toe and kicking a wall.
