Why would you like sprint? It just slows the gameplay down substantially, plus the hitboxes are all fucked up on someone who's sprinting.

cause that keeps it going it helps you get to places etc.

But overall it just slows the pace of the game down, and gives you a get of out jail free card every 5 seconds(Or however long it takes for the ability to recharge). It honestly has no place in competitive play. The same goes for evade, although I fucking love evade. That's why evade is a powerup on the map that has to be fought for, and not an innate ability like sprint was.

The person who got the first shot off out-maneuvered the other guy, so he deserved to get the first shot off. Also, you could try strafing and out-shooting your opponent.

There's no reason for sprint, especially not in competitive games. The previous 3 Halos didn't have it, and they were great games. I'm not saying that just because the game is different from the previous installments it's bad, far from it: I'm just saying that that mechanic in particular has no place in competitive gameplay. It's just another instance of Bungie, along with most devs, dumbing down the games for the retarded masses.
