I havent played reach since the beta, but wouldnt this make it extremely good? no more waiting for the bloom to go down people would just spray it...

You mean everybody? Yes. Have you ever seen a pro stream? They spam just as much as anyone. It looks like you haven't played the game... at all. Unless you're across the map, it's better to spam rather than let the reticule reset fully.



They are obviously going to either change the RoF or change the damage done by the DMR. Use your head.

Timing =/= letting reticule fully reset.

Unless you let the reticule reset fully, you're leaving most of your shots up to luck. Any time your reticule has expanded so much that it isn't completely on your target's body, luck is playing quite a large factor. It's mathematically better to spam than it is to let your reticule reset fully. And when I say "spam," I don't necessarily mean shooting as fast as possible, I mean shooting quick enough that your reticule becomes pretty large, but you still have some control over it. If you watch pro streams, everyone, for the most part, shoots at the same rate of fire, and the winner of the DMR battle is chosen almost completely by luck.

I'm pretty sure pros would out DMR you all day long. Stop talking like you have some huge revelation to share.

Just watch the stream if you want confirmation of what I'm saying. Every single one of them is spamming. Not a single person is even making an effort to control their RoF.
