I agree that the br > dmr
and the bloom sucks
but its a really great game after all
the reason most of you think halo 1 > 2 > 3 > reach
is because your playing the same damn game, different yes but still the same thing
and you guys are growing and become older and I had more fun playing any video games when I was a kid than now
you cant play the same game for 10 years and have as much fun as the first years
halo 2 was the best halo, because it was new, xbox live + halo was new and it was awesome
halo reach is the best one imo. there a lot of stuff id change for halo 4 and I hope they'll change it

adding a real mapmaker, far cry mapmaker on the first xbox was totally amazing
fuck the bloom, bring back the BR and thats it, everything else is fine.

another reason why u guys hatin are the armor abilities
armor abilities + bloom + random grenade make the game much more random and more based on luck so much more frustrating to anyone playing competitively
but when you jump into MLG, team arena, its another game
it just take time

No, PopJe. CE > 2 > 3 > Reach because Bungie has been gearing their games towards the more casual audience over the year. Although nostalgia influences many people's opinions, the earlier games were MUCH better for competitive play.

CE: Very fair/balanced, largely dependent on individual skill, and hard to master(Very high skill ceiling).
H2: A bit more dependent on team skill, slightly lower skill ceiling(largely because of the high amount of auto aim).
H3: Fucked up BR spread and registration issues. Team skill took precedent over individual skill almost always.
Reach: Flawed bloom, no bleed through, fucked up explosives, huge sniper hitboxes, a bunch of other random shit. Team skill and luck make up 95% of the game.

halo should never have bloom or special abilities (evade sprint jet pack ect...) this isnt cod

After watching the Halo: Combat Evolved 'Anniversary edition' I'm not impressed, it looks like a cartoony Halo 3 with horrible changes. I found it hard to find the difference between the graphics on everything they didn't add in their selves. When you see Chief walking through the jungle with the AR it really looks bad, not impressed at all, I would have enjoyed seeing the game come back with original graphics but being able to play it co-op through xbl so if I did play it I could still be in a party to talk to people.
