halo 1 campaign > all though

but halo 2 was deffinitly way more fun and addictive

Halo 1 custom games were more fun, imo.
My older brother and I used to play Halo 1 for hours at a time when I was little.
We'd play Halo 2, but Halo 1 was more fun.

Halo 2's multiplayer > Halo 1's for me, and I played plenty of H1 lans/XBC. Backpack reloaded, double melee, the whole sha-bang. It's all opinion based though, so no one can say which is better.

DRM feels like the Halo 1 pistol (some online tweaks need to be applied though) and the assault rifle kind of feels like Halo CE as well and the armor abilities make the game fun again. Some of the maps though make my eyes bleed, especially the Ivory tower remake that I already forgot the name of.

/e Also the campaign felt like the first one too, but that probably isn't relevant to your interests. It brought back lots of nostalgia when there was an entire level devoted to sniping and sneaking in the dark, just like the second level of Halo CE. Even had you board a Covenant ship.
