Recon/claw or bj/claw is probably the best. The real question is what's best for those of us (like me) who don't want to claw? I'm leaning towards default because I'll be able to control my melees and sprint more efficiently, but that's at the cost of not crouching...ever. Non-claw/default will also more than likely need to use toggle to crouch because aiming while holding down b is not feasible. Of course, default is worthless if Gandhi hopping is actually useful in the game. In which case, recon is the go-to setting for me.

this just makes me so sad it will prob be alright once i get used to it but its a disappointment heading into it.

I use claw recon due to the fact that it allows me to have full range of motion on the controller even while ghandi hopping + switching weapons etc.

i actually developed claw due to CoD default setting making it impossible to aim well while drop shooting/jumping without clawing.

that being said, if anyone is a cod nerd and just getting into halo, there's a new controller setting for cod kids

I never clawed.

I usually go with default.
