I said competitive Halo, not competitive Reach. Competitive Halo includes the commentators, players, atmosphere, etc., not just the gameplay itself.

This. The commentators were a lot better this tournament too which was a HUGE plus. They were much more decisive and straightforward in what they said and was a huge step up from Shockwave and whatnot

I actually really enjoyed this tournament, which I haven't done in a while lol. Walshy did a great job, as well as T2 and a few other pro commentators they brought in. I just wish they brought Puckett up a little more often, what happened to him anyway?

Also, what's this talk about Reach not being in the next event? I heard Gandhi say that quite a few times.

This is a horrible insult, my posts are actually good. Act1's posts are 90% stuff like "thats bad."

He got promoted and basically helps run the whole tournament now. The main Reach commentators are now Walshy, Bravo (did a great job) and Gandhi.



MLG has been in danger of bankruptcy apparently because all of the big sponsors like Old Spice felt as though they weren't getting the returns they wanted based on the money the funneled into MLG. Halo's following last tournament was extremely small but they Reach turnout this tourney was completely unexpected. It may be the only reason Halo stays on the circuit. With the new FFA thing on Friday where everyone could participate they even streamed til like 3 AM although they were only expecting to go til like midnight. The support was overwhelming and you could even see the excitement in the commentators that it may save Halo. It just has to survive to Halo 4 which may bring it even to Starcraft's level

sundance also said that he has put in like 20 mill into halo and is getting nothing back
20 mill does not sound right tho
