TB HPX + Mixamp = cheaper & sound MUCH better then A30/40's

Trust me i know, i own both, the HPX's sound quality >>>>>>>> A40's

But which are comfier? I care more about comfort than sound because in all honesty, sound quality doesn't vary to the point where I'd put on the Astros and be like "Wow this sounds like shit"

Well if you wore astro's for a while, then switched to HPX you would notice the difference, especially in the clarity, distance, direction, ect ect

But if you wanna spend more $ for a lesser quality headset then go for it, the A40's arent "bad" by any means, and when it comes to comfort the A40's are VERY comfortable, a lil more comfortable then the hpx's, but not by alot

Wow, this was outstanding! I think I'm going to get the HXP-2s since I use my headset for World of Warcraft as well. Now my last question is that if I were to get this headset, would it work with the wireless mixamp?
I don't really understand how the mixamps work because I've never used them. If someone could just gimmie a list of what I need to buy for the HPX to work with my xbox + computer that would be phenomenal! Thanks

Yes the HPX work with the astro mixamp, thats what i use, just make sure you get the one that includes the astro mixamp cable, or if you are going the hpa-2 route then just add the astro cable adapter to your order, its 9.99

If you get the HPX-2 + the atsro cable then you will have everything you need to hook it your xbox & PC

And it'd work with the wireless mixamp?

Oh fuck it, HPX2 is only compatible with PC, not 360

It's worth getting 2 sets of cables - 1 for pc, 1 for mixamp - because its a piss easy quick disconnect headset so you can swap easily.
