Arkansas and LSU actually have a pretty good rivalry forming now.  It seems like no matter how "good" or "bad" each team is in a given year, the game is always close and always fun to watch, and the rest of the country is starting to take notice.

I forsee many games between us that decide who is going to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

Good luck against A&M this weekend.  I work with a ton of Aggie grads and I would love to rub the SEC superiority in their face come Monday.

I used to frequent Texarakana quite a bit back in the day and anytime i was down there during one of those games it was straight craziness lol

No, pardon my bias, but I still think Arkansas should have won and would win 8/10 times. This is reflected in how the rest of the Big 10 has fared thus far in relation to other SEC opponents and our relation to how we fared against those same opponents. Our receivers did not show up, and it was reflected by them constantly dropping easy passes, something they haven't done all season. Joe Adams dropped 2 passes in the game that both would have went for easy touchdowns. Even DJ Williams, our All-American tight end and usually clutch catcher, dropped an easy pass late in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to the interception. Furthermore, the fumble in the first half where 2 Razorback players literally slid into each other, causing the ball to shoot out, couldn't be replicated if that scene was replayed 100 times. And why Lance Ray thought it was a good idea to fall on the blocked punt instead of running it 20 yards into the endzone with a minute left in the game and no timeouts is beyond me. Finally, we are in the top 5 in the NCAA in points in the red zone...I think we score a touchdown something like 80% of the time we are there, yet Ryan happens to throw an interception this one time, costing us the game. In the law of averages you just aren't going to see that very often.

I hate bowl games because there is too big of a time gap between them and the regular season. Teams that were firing on all cylinders late in the season lose their some of their edge and almost every bowl game you'll see one or both teams come out and have an abysmal first half and when they finally get back into the groove come second half they have already dug too deep of a hole to get out of. The true Razorback team that dominated the second half of their regular season schedule came out in the second half for the most part, save some rusty receivers. It's just a pity it took them a whole half and an 18 point deficit to shake all of the cobwebs off.
