I think you put too much stock in the trash talk. It's not like he's free to sit up there and say whatever the hell he wants to, there are rules and he's not dumb enough to really unload on people. Even when Tsquared would periodically cross the line last year with his trash talk in games, you could visibly see the refs going over to him and you knew exactly what they were saying since he immediately kept it to business for the rest of the series. And that's actually IN game, where they typically just let them say whatever.

But in the pregame interviews, you know they are under strict guard not to be overly crude and offensive. You can just tell, because some of the most vocal or having the most spiteful attitudes usually just end up saying the most basic things "well it's going to be a close series but we practiced hard and we're going to win!"

Walshy plays it kiddie because that's what he can get by with, and still be moderately amusing. He can't just say "Ogre 2 looks like the product of a Cheap Hermanphodite whore getting felt up by a Slingblade-contest-winning-lookalike-idiot with down syndrome"
