You have to get a permit that takes like years in NJ unless you know people/retired law enforcement so my dad got his in like a day. Him carrying when he gets pulled over is funny cuz he has an excuse to tell the cop who/what he is/does it's pretty funny. Cops do not enjoy that.

No, they are pushing it like Arizona. You don't need a permit for concealed or open. Which to be honest I'm not sure how that would work in the bigger cities.
