• Your highest CSR across all playlists will be promoted in the player profile on Halo Waypoint.
• CSR uses familiar 1-50 scale.
• When CSR launches, everyone will start with a fresh rating.

Just because your highest CSR is promoted on Waypoint, doesn't mean ranks aren't going to be displayed in game... I think people are being stupid and paranoid.

It's visible to you only, yea you would have to keep checking waypoint for other people.  It's their way of preventing people from boosting/cheating

IF a # ranking system comes out then there will not be a "True Skill" ranking system for the PL that use the #'d.
Just as in H3 you were ranked against other lvl's close to you and in social it was based off of true+party size.
