This only applies to players who already are good. The guy started a few weeks ago he needs to learn individual skill before he can ever competently fill a spot on a team (of decent players). You talk like hes training for mlg tournaments. I imagine he is playing online by himself or with a friend or two

we started on reach. i sucked at first but started getting the hang of it. for a few days i was getting 2-3 kills a match. after a few days i was getting 5-10. now weve been on halo 4 since it came out and im getting around 15 a match. is that good progression? you can definitely notice the skill difference, im real situationally aware now always looking everywhere, im getting kills from the grave with grenades even when i get killed by someone, im nasty at assassinations, and im getting good at jumping around and dodging shit and also i abuse the hell out of that hologram thingy just how exactly do you get PRO at this game i want to piss my gf off by getting better at her than it, shes been playing for like 4 yrs and i can already kinda hang with her in 1v1s but shes still just a little better
