I saw his video. 1. He sucks at speaking, is absolutely obnoxious. 2. I did what he did with putting it in the aux port rather than line port. Which made it so I heard SOME noises but not OTHERS. nonetheless I either expected WAY more from these headphones or its WAY too quiet. If I turn the knob on the headset itself half way down its silent.

All the Turtle Beaches I've owned have been exceptional, that being sad, I always got the X1's/X11's.

My friend owned the X31's but they were very, very, very close to as good of quality. I think you just got a bad pair. Turtle Beaches are generally good.

I'm also seeing some shit where I have to buy a av adapter ALSO which is NOT included.. but that is only if you dont have audio output on your tv... but it still doesnt work WHATSOEVER if I have it set up according to the booklet.

I've never really hooked headsets up to TV's, only monitors. You should honestly go trade it back in and get 40 dollars back + buy X12's.
