To answer your question. I'm almost positive that $1 offer is only offered to newly created accounts, not to extend a current one.

Now whether or not that $1 offer is still active, I'm not sure.

Idk if you can see these offers or not. But if you actually checkout some of the advertisments on the dash board, alot of them offer discounts on XBL. Get a job, pay for cheaper membership.

I can afford it just fine lol, just didn't want to pay $10 for an hour of fun. I'm already over the urge to play Halo, so it would have been a complete waste.

its like every 3rd month or so for the $1 for 1 month

if you want to spend 30 or 40 $ for a 12 month just asy you want to cancel your account and they will offer it. if not lmk and i can give you links to a site that has 12months for 40 a lot

I didn't want a year's worth of XBL, I only wanted 1 month for $1 >.< I will likely never play Xbox again.

If you can't afford 10 dollars a month for XBL, don't play XBL. If you want to say "I don't think I'll use the 10 dollars worth" think of it like this. If you go out to the movies, you're paying 10-15 dollars for 1 1/2 - 2 hours of entertainment. If you can't pay 33 cents a day, don't play.
