False.
I've seen him live 4 times now (compared to your zero), been right there next to him watching him and I know what I'm looking at as I Dj as well. Thus I have real life experience and seen what he can do with my own eyes, rather then what I 'heard' from friends or people on the internet.
Like I said, Disliking Skrillex is fine. I actually don't care for a lot of his stuff tbh (all tho there is some tracks of his that I love, but not 'all' his stuff I care for). So I'm not really here defending 'him' but I am pointing out what you 'heard' isn't exactly true.
And of course I'm not here to argue with 'you' bro, and you can hate on Skillex all you want and won't hear a peep out of me, but when there is false info being spread then I felt the need to clear it up.
How much real life experience do you have with producing and mixing?
How is that false?
You can look up any video of him playing live or even Google what he uses to perform live.
He doesn't use tables, he uses a Ableton remote.
I know 5 people personally that DJ, but only 2 of them actually produce.
Ableton is fine, but the fact he PRODUCES with it when he's that "high calibre" of a artist, he should learn to use something other than Ableton pre-recorded buttons.
EDIT: I guess it's not what he uses that bothers me, it's what he doesn't use.
If amateur DJ's that I'm friends with can use a remote with tables, why can't he learn it?
He jumped from screamo music into electronic music, so there's obviously a learning curve and he's doing well with that, but come on.. produce with something that actually shows you're learning and adapting.
I know people that loved Skrillex, then see him live and it changed their entire view on him and his music for the negative.
