Netflix is really nice because it's instant, and always good quality. Before I got Netflix, if I wanted to watch something, I'd have to wait at least half an hour for it to download(nn retarded streaming sites), and sometimes you get the shittiest quality movies ever. Netflix is instant and everything is worth watching :p

Ya I hear ya man, But I know good sites to DL (some of them members only) and I almost always DL HD rips, and my net is VERY fast, never takes me longer then 4-7 mins or so

But yeah, if my net wasn't as good as it is then I prolly would still be using netflix, Im not talking bad about netflix, just saying it became pointless for me once I upgraded my net to what it's at now

As long as your bandwidth isn't terribly slow, your connection makes virtually no difference. It's solely dependent on how many people are uploading that video, and a tons of things have like zero seeders. The more popular movies take like 10 minutes or so, but some of the more obscure stuff or large files take ages

/e And I use a good site, but that doesn't change anything

The main site i use doesnt charge, and its not a p2p site, so it doesnt matter who is uploading and seeding, ect. and my DL speed does affect it

They just upload their rips to rapidshare and sites like that, but the site i use literally has pretty much every possible thing digital (movies, music, programs, ebooks, ect), its pretty much a forum actually not a warez traffic site, but they no longer allow new registrations, so it's "members only" for now at least
