No, lol. For starters, it's online, and the top 1% of Arena is thousands of people. Like the top .001% of Arena players would be considered "Pro" if this kind of system was accurate. Also, when did they change the Arena rankings? I'm pretty sure your ranking is still based on individual performance, but your trueskill still goes by win/loss and the difficulty of your opponents.
no, if you play all your games with someone that have a average of 1200 rating and you, you have a average of 1800 rating
you both will have the same percentile and be in the same division.
there 5 different divisions and there the same number of players in each divisions
and I doubt there more than 50000 players that play his arenas (or mlg arenas if it exist)
so if your top 1% in the onyx division, your obviously in the top 100 best mlg players in the world (lets say all mlg pros play online)
how many halo reach mlg pros there is ? 50 ?
so yeah, being 0.1-0.5% onyx in MLG would make you a MLG pro.
far from 0.001%
