i feel its very dark. and as the tattoo fades it wont look like a door rather than all black unless the shades of the trim are much darker than the door itself. IDK I feel like I know what I'm saying, i just don't know if I'm getting my point across. Basically the image is very dark with darker shading. and if the rays arent there, then you wouldnt be able to see the light shine in the door. but idk if rays would fit so well. wat about like... fog or something? like the ray of light is burning thru the fog. which would still go with your theme for the tattoo.

You're right. But, the tattoo will be more of outlines of the door with skin as the background color, not the white background of this site.

i like the second pic better with the rays inside the pic rather than being on the border. and I wasn't looking at the white background, altho i did see it. I was just visioning it on me and seeing wat i thot would look best and how. Is that the font you want the words in or did you find it on a pic and went with it?

Yeah, I picked that font. It's hard to find fonts that match a biblical theme that would also look good on a tattoo.

I'd leave them ending at the door. Has your artist drawn up a sketch for you yet? It could turn out looking totally different depending on his interpretation.

Thinking about getting this my 18th birthday without the heart and only 1 name(my grandmothers)

The fonts a bit hard to read, although since it's a concept obviously that's going to change. Otherwise, especially because theres personal meaning behind it, looks good. Gl with the pastor thing, although I'm not religious at all, it's good that you're at peace with God or whatever.

i'd say ending at the door but idk.

I haven't brought it to him yet. My other tattoos don't have much shading detail, but I know that they took the sketches I brought in and just scanned them onto their own stencil paper.
