I sometimes do them if I am just screwing around. I know I would feel like I was trash if I was 1 shot to the head, and the guy was able to assassinate me, and chose to do that instead of the fast kill.

well when someone just runs past you sometimes its more efficient to assasinate them instead of shooting to give away your position
