Games fun, it's a lot harder to outgun 2 people if they both have DMR's
I wasn't very good at halo 3, but it wasn't that hard to outgun multiple people
Just my opinion

That's definitely true especially if they fire with any kind of successful rhythm. I just feel accomplished if I can take one of them with me before I die.

I love the sniper so much. One game of double got 9/10 headshots, just played a game and got 7/8 headshots. It's too ez.

I've been wondering what the standard was in this game because sometimes 4 will do it and sometimes 5 will do it.

Sniping is fun as hell on Reach and I think it's even more skill-indicative than it was on Halo 3. They don't have it on any map where it isn't completely instrumental or important. I'm also enjoying how they spaced out the shotgun and sword and only put them on a few maps, and more importantly that those maps can still be won without using them.

That's the DMR rhythm that I use and I think I've only been beat in a gunfight three times when I had the first shot. I don't think the cooldown is as dramatic as all the bad people make it. And you're probably getting sniped a lot because of the massive amount of people that are hardscoping because they don't realize that this game is full of remakes and that most people already have a set strategy on how to play the maps from a few years ago.

I noticed this on Sanctuary especially, people will sprint to the snipe and then just sit where it spawns and hardscope across the map. That or they jetpack on top of the tower it spawns in. It's fun to watch the simple strategies take shape because they're all really easy to break through.

I think the host on this game is awesome because it's not like Halo 3's style of hosting where if your team doesn't pull host you don't win. I think the Green/Yellow/Red bars are actually more accurate of displaying everyone's personal connection in this game than they were in H3 also. It's a huge improvement.

Yeah I agree

Maybe 4 is if they have very little to no health left?
I always thought it was 5 = perfect

I've gotten the 4 to work on every Ivory Tower game when we spawn near the lift and you jetpack up towards Snipe. If they are running for Rockets below you can look down at them with a perfect angle and that's the only real spot where I've gotten 4 shots to kill to work every single time.

Dunno if I agree with the shotgun part... Shotgun is always annoying imo.

Yes, Reach sniping is by far my favorite Halo sniper.
