I got this at my local Fry's for about $200, which is really cheap for a 1080 22" monitor. It has 2ms response time which is the lowest you can get. Most Acers have about a 4-8ms response times, which is very noticeable. Once you get your monitor, there's a couple other things that are necessary to go with it. For audio (as monitors don't have speakers), you need to have a headset. Viewsonic monitors have a 1.5mm audio jack in the back, so that's where you plug in your audio. If you have an Astro mixamp that makes running audio a ton easier because it comes with all the necessary cables and then some (to make it run better). Lastly you need an Xbox 360 VGA cable (http://images.marketplaceadvisor.channeladvisor.com/hi/71/71296/xbox_360_og_vga_cable_box.jpg), it comes with the VGA end, AV ends, and a 360 AV end.

Thar you go.

Wait, are you saying you run audio out of your monitor instead of your vga cable connection to xbox?

I don't, that's because I have a mixamp, I run my audio so it compliments my mixamp, which is really complicated and there's a lot of chords. However, you could just run it straight through your monitor to your headset..

Good. It's not THAT complicated, just run the fiber-optic cable from the vga cable's connection to xbox to the mixamp, voila. Most of it's easy to figure out just by looking at the connectors on the mix-amp and figuring out which cord goes where.

I'd say they're about equal. Each has minute differences from the other on a few things, but the important aspects are all comparable. Yours is slightly more expensive from what I saw, but I didn't go searching for cheapest price so can't really speak to that.
