Yeah, you have to with any headset or else no sound will come from them.
Click the 360 button and go all the way to the right and I believe it's under Preferences.
i guess i have a loose wire like were the cord that runs into the headset is. its a little loose i know its meant to pull a little but its a loose wire ill fix it
