I can't adapt and can't grasp the idea they don't give a fuck about competitive gaming because they don't make money from it they make money from SALES and they don't want a niche 200k people buying/playing an updated version of halo 2 vs millions buying new halo

reach can be barely described as halo. the only thing it has in common is a few weapons and the health bar/regen.

What the fuck are you talking about? How in God's name is Reach not Halo? Is Halo 2 really "Halo"? It was so drastically different from CE that it shouldn't have even been categorized as a Halo game. What about 3? Shit they changed so much from 2 to 3 that it wasn't really Halo either.

Comparing sequels to past versions of a game is down right retarded. It definitely isn't as good as any previous Halo, but it's definitely a Halo game.

Sad that Halo Reach is so bad it makes spawns think Halo 3 was a good halo. LOL

Just a short comparison

Halo:
1. High jumps
2. Fast run speed
3. The weapons (they are what they are)
4. No bloom effect
5. O/C (overshield/camouflage)

Halo 2:
1. High jumps
2. Fast run speed
3. Additional weapons and tweaked previous ones
4. No bloom
5. O/C

Halo 3:
1. High jumps
2. Fast run speed
3. Additional weapons and tweaked previous ones
4. No bloom effect
5. O/C

Reach:
1. low jumps
2. Slow runs
3. Additional weapons and tweaked previous ones
4. bloom effect
5. Armor abilities/load outs

* effect is actually showing it. there was some spread in halo 1, 2, and 3 (invisible), but in reach its scale is huge and your reticle expands. That alone is so unlike the Halo tradition and raging.

These are just a few of the HUGE game changing mechanics that define the halo experience. Halo 1-3 are in range with one another, but Reach is in its own world. It doesn't feel like Halo . . . not to mention you are not even the master chief when you play (multiplayerwise....and yes, that's just a personal preference, so don't bash me on this)

Your entire post is basically saying that you don't like bloom or armor abilities. Just because there's a couple of new mechanics doesn't make it not a Halo game. There's still a shield system(One of the things Halo is known for), the same weapons, mostly the same mechanics, the same style of game play, and so on.

Also, CE had bloom. Your reticle didn't expand, but there was still bloom on the pistol.

IF I just proved to you that there are major game mechanic changes, how can you say that it's "mostly the same mechanics". Once the game mechanics change, the style of play changes, and so on. And I said that I acknowledged a level of "bloom" in CE. It's called spread. I don't believe there is spread in Halo 2 (I literally just played the campaign again) but I know for a fact there's spread in Halo 3. The reticle "blooms", or expands/grows in ONLY Halo Reach. The forced bloom in Reach meant an increase in spread, which made the game feel "slow".
