To be honest I've never really known how to do this, even though I've played halo for my whole life

How do you drop and pickup the flag/bomb quickly cause for some reason when I try there is a delay for the button to pop back up so I'm awkwardly standing there

I've seen people say this repeatedly, and I dunno what you guys are doing wrong. I can run the flag just fine in Reach

Is there a way to drop it and pick it back up quickly? I usually have to wait about 5 seconds for the button to come back...

I play on Bumper Jumper, and I run it exactly the same way as I did in H3: Hold B to pick up the flag, look up(Or jump and look up), hit the right trigger to drop the flag, hold B to pick it up, hit the righter trigger, repeat.

Hmm well I can do that, maybe it is just halo: reach cause I remember watching MLG in halo 3 for fun sometimes and it seems like they can pick up the flag 5 times a second

I still have no clue why some people seem to experience this ridiculously long "cool down" time between touching the flag/ball. My friends bitch about it all the time, and I honestly have no explanation. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between Reach and H3 when it comes to flag running(Other than the terrible fucked up physics of Reach, of course).
