Anyone want to share their methods for dodging the afk auto-kick

I know of one, but circumstantial.


You have to be in a Main Story quest, and any part where the cutscene or audible quest requires you to *click* in order to move on to the next phrase, you just leave it there.

I was in a MSQ and fell asleep. I afk'd roughly for 2-3 hours, and I was still logged in.

UPDATE

Sorry, the Audible MSQ cutscene afk-no time out method doesn't work anymore. Nor does leaving the HUB open, having an open dialogue with a retainer or keeping a mailbox open. All were fixed...


The only sure-fire method is to get an oscillating fan, some thread, and a controller. :thumbsup:

All the legit ways were fixed that people used to use (retainer, open HUD, etc.).

All of the ways to anti-afk are outside of the game now through add-ons or outside programs; so won't discuss it here but I'm sure people can figure out how to if they've ever used 3rd party stuff...
