Yes i am concerd about the new battle system, from what i heard its not round based anymore!
I liked VII, VIII, X and IX a bit. You would recommend me to buy it?

on 12? you mean 8. its just vague what your saying.
Heck I liked very much 8, and I enjoy more 12 cause there are so many ways to do the game. I have done the Perfect Game, and I am now on the 122333 challenge game. After this is done I'll be doing the NLB challenge.
So I think its more fun. Gambits are a bit hard to understand at first but within a few hours it should be basic really.
If you enjoyed 8 I'm sure you'll like 12. But in 12 there is no love story. Its politics mostly.

Anyways, XII's battle system brings something new to the FF series, which I thought kicked ass. It's addicting, and has a good story to it (IMO)

I say rent it first to see if it fits your needs on a FF game =)

12 got boring really fast for me
i prefer the old battle system just want a new story line..

XII is a nice game but the story line seemed kind of boring at times. It's a little too "political" for my taste.

Actually once you played it once and you basically know what the game is about you should try the 122333 (no levelling up) It makes the game 10x better and more fun.
