Ok so I have been playing around with my new Mac. Dl-ed some emulators and games to play while I sit and do work. I turned on FF2 which I am currently playing on the playstation (Origins disc) and it is totally not the same game. I know they changed a few things in the Playstation remakes but the entire beginnings of each game are totally different. Did i get the wrong rom for it or what? The rom'd FF2 I have starts out with Cecil aboard an airship and then you go and steal the crystal from Mysidian mages. Then Cecil and Kain are banished from the airships and must travel to Mist. Where the FF2 on PS starts with you being attacked and then Firion wakes up in Altair and starts their journey. I heard that some FFs here were not the same as in japan so maybe this is a later FF and I'm not making the connection. Idk.

Ok so further info as I explore the web. I'm guessing that FF2 on SNES is the same as FF4. I'll be popping in the FF Anthology or Chronicles whichever one has 4 and seeing if it's the same.
Edit2:: Confirmed FF2 SNES is same as FF4. Most of you probably already knew but alas. This is what you do when you're bored and it's storming like crazy with no work to do.
