How is the trade section for this game so damn dead when if I am not mistaken FFIV is doing really well in terms of player base in the MMO world at the moment. If I'm not mistaken it has like the 3rd or 4th highest player base.

I see. Well, that's a good thing. I was thinking of getting into this game but the lack of posts here had me worried if it had really died down or something.

this game has a higher population then wow at the moment.

To be honest though, another thing I notice about this game is that the global communication (or communication outside of your group at all for that matter) is muchhhhhh lower than in other games. It is a popular game, lots of subs and everything, but the WAY that people play makes it feel more dead than it really should in my own eyes. That is of course, unless you make sure you move yourself to a clusterfxck server or if you are on a legacy one etc. Must be a bit different there I am sure.

its low probably because people rather speak under their FCs (guilds)
