being a long time ff player.... and also being one that has bought gil and traded for it through here in the past.... if they cant prove it they cant ban you. buying gil in any form has always been frowned upon in the final fantasy community. the only way you will get banned for it is if you are telling people that you are doing it. And yes technically trading forum gold for gil would still be considered buying gil or (cheating) is SE's eyes. my advice is if your gonna do it keep it to your self.
Thanks for the response. So basically, what are the safeguards? Making sure there is absolutely no mention of anything at all in game? Should junk items be thrown in the trade window to not flag something etc?
I obviously wouldn't be telling anyone anything, but like, I saw a post on the official forums about 4700 accounts being permabanned this week for RMT and was wondering how that would actually be judged etc.
