Had friends who got banned who bought gold and had friends who didn't
There is no 100% guarantee you wont get caught.
Don't do anything that will give away that you are purchasing gil from 3rd party.
Don't buy in large quantities. Don't do it frequently. ect,ect
Personally I wouldn't recommend buying it. The pros vs cons aren't worth it.
