So I'm messing around on a 29 CNJ about to become a WHM. I'm torn between tanking and healing in this game but my friend is saying mouse over macros (for my healing) blow in this game but I've read some people have had success.

Is there some sort of trick to solving the issues with mouse over macros? I honestly think I'd enjoy healing more if I can successfully use mouse overs but if not I'd probably prefer to tank. Lmk your experiences!

All you need to do is point the name with your mouse and press the skill, that's how I manage my pet on scholar while dpsing.

You just need to get used to it, it's a bit different on here then WoW and not as useful because there aren't as many members.

E: and as a whm I don't use mouse overs at all, it's all about casting 1 spell on a person or an aoe, not micro managing anything.

I've done heroic healing in the past in WoW so I understand the functionality for MO macros. But I've been told that they don't work so well in this game and I was wondering if anyone has tips or can explain why they don't work as well. Possibly have a solution as well.

Well honestly they're not the same because of the delay in this game.
But if you can get used to healing with a delay, they're pretty much as effective.

Yeah that is what I was afraid of. I don't see any point on working with MO's if there is a delay. Whole point of MO's, imo, is to save time.
