These are basically the same games correct?

Also, would the PSP guide help on the NES/SNES games? Have WII Points was thinking about downloading these games.

idk what the PSP versions are like, but if Sony simply reported the PS1 remakes to PSP then, yes, they are essentially the same games (with some bugs/glitches removed iirc) and the guides would be the same.
