There seems to be a problem with the main story missions. Upon completing a mission there is no way to find where to pick up the next mission. I know what quest I completed, I know the name of the next quest, and I still can't find where it will begin anywhere in game or the in a guide on the internet.

Making the quests findable seems pretty basic to me and I refuse to go through anymore headaches to play a stupid fucking game. Get your shit together SE.

So what you're saying, unless the game is holding your hand and telling you where to go... You won't play it? I'm assuming you started your gaming life on WoW

Actually, when WoW first began quests were actually hard to complete. You had to read the description and find it out yourself. An add-on wasn't developed until after, and the in-game tracker has only been a feature since the 2nd expansion.

As for FFXIV, I've never had a single problem finding the next mission. When you finish one, the same NPC or one surrounding it should give you the follow-up. If it doesn't happen, go back to your major city. If that's too hard to figure out, you probably should reconsider playing.

Games nowadays are developed to be noob-friendly.

This.

Or the quest giver has another quest (Non-Story Mission) and he can't accept story quest until he accepts the optional quest.

Has this problem with the priest guy near Drybone.
