How do u beat the game with default level squall? This essentially means you have to beat the game with default levels of every char and no side quests. Tips for this?

Good luck, its hard but fun. Im only at the end of Disc one lol.... Ive done lots of Triple Triad, and Card Mod enemies. this gives you the EP for stat boosting and cards to get magic..

The biggest/easiest thing to do is trade the high level cards for items. It helps out a Ton, but then you lose the cards. I haven't done that, but it helps a ton.

You can get the cards back in Disc 4 if you previously complete the CC sidequest.
