I am new to FF 14 and I'm having a rather hard time finding quests to do on my alts. I'm not really sure what I should be doing to get the exp I need other than just killing mobs and randomly finding fates to do. I leveled my arcanist to 30 and I got my CNJ to 15 but it took me a bit to get to that. I don't see how other people are getting more than one class leveled on one toon. Any advice on what to do for that exp? What zones have what level quests even? I've tried looking online and I'm still kinda lost on it.

Everyone just grinds on FATEs or does dungeons. Quests do not appear again after you finish it the first time on your character, whether what class you are using. There are also levies (which uses allowances) but you get 6 allowances a day. FATEs were the easiest way to level. Not sure with the 2.1 patch and will be 2.2 patch coming out.

#1. Duty roulette daily bonus <--- this is almost a free level
#2. Fates <---- Do these wile you wait for duty roulette que
#3. Current level dungeon
#4. Fates

Repeat / Alternate #3 - #4

This is the best way to level untill they patch. I recommend saving you're leve's for crafters/gathers unless you have full 100. Then you can dump some into leveling a Disciple of war/magic.

If it's your first play-through, Keep doing the main story line. The quests are mandatory to open later dungeons and raids, And they also give a retarded amount of gold to get you started once you hit 50.
