IS it worth even buying the game? i have heard mixed reviews about pretty much every aspect of it.

Only if your a diehard ff13 fan

I feel like I've spent a good portion of my day pondering if I should buy this now / would have time to play it.

I think that I will though, just because the FFXIII series is one of my top three favorites. (I didn't like XIII-2 very much though.)

it can be fun the combat is cool the costuming of lighting is gear is cool the story is good and its the end of the trilogy
u spend a lot of time walking from place 2 place the time limit is annoying(u have 13 days then its the end I think im only on day 3) some fights r very hard if u fuck up ur timing and u gota keep using the chronoshift thing 2 stop time like every minute so u don't run outa days also there is no levelling or grinding u get stats from completing quests and u get skills from killing monsters

I have been playing for a few days. I will say the combat and class switching in combat is cool along with the costumer and adornments. I agree with youjustcantno with most of the opinions. The time thing is just a super hassle, and having to give Eradia every day. But other than that it's pretty fun to play.

Would recommend playing it on easy first
Cuz ciaus will rape you in normal
He gives you a good wep after you beat him

Do as many side quests as you can and use EP to stop time
You have to do a bunch to unlock the OMEGA dungeon at the end

Hard mode allows you to upgrade weapons and buy better garbs and weapons
Buy only garbs until you hit hard mode
Time isn't a hassle as you can just stop it
Also in hard mode you regen EP slower

I just platnumed it a week ago or so. I liked it, would rank it last in the xiii series, but I did enjoy playing it. Like other mentioned, play on easy the first time through though.

really dont like the twist of the story tho....

Starting it now, I'll let you know.
