Ok so what does this game have in relation to the FF series? I heard somewhere once that it was essentially the American version of FF3? Is this true? I am currently playing all of my FFs through and the opnly discs for PS I didn't have was FF Chronicles which I picked up not too long ago. Currently on last dungeon of FF1 then will play 2 and so on but I'm just curious about Chrono Trigger and why it's on with FF4. Thanks for info.

As far as i know, it only is made by the same company, nothing really related to final fantasy, story or character wise.

It's on the disc with FFIV because it's also made by SquareSoft. (now SquareEnix) It has no relation to any other Final Fantasy (that I know of) though is still a great game. It's better than most Final Fantasies... I say it's the 3rd best game ever made by SquareSoft, while its sequel Chrono Cross had a bit to be desired...

It's a very good game. Don't need final fantasy in the name for it to be good

It's made by Squaresoft.. It has no real relation to Final Fantasy, but it is the prequil to Chrono Cross, another excelent game indeed
