A lot of people have been discussing the fact that after you hit 50, there are no gil fountains in the game. There are very few ways to add gil into the economy outside of quests, which means that very expensive repair costs end game along with constant teleports will whittle down people's gil stashes. Do you think the value of gil will actually increase on d2jsp as teh game goes on, something that is entirely opposite of other mmos?

As it stands, most people peak at 150-300k gil when they first hit 50. I already have some buddies who raid hardcore complaining that they're poor from the extreme costs.

The purchasing power of Gil will go up over time if more Gil generation is not implemented soon. There will be deflation once people start realizing this.

It will slowly devalue if people farm like they did in 1.0.

What can you farm that will bring gil into the game though? I haven't seen anything drop more then a couple gil at a time, and none of the mob drops sell for much to vendors

One of the best things for the economy right now is gold sellers making a lot of characters and people actually purchasing their gil.

More people play = value goes up as more demand.

More people quit = value goes down as lower demand higher supply.

Since the launch was so awful I predict the value will drop. Only people staying around are hardcore players that will farm or bot.
