I actually have a few friends in my guild that play on the PS3 - to my surprise, some of them have a better experience than PC players. It's all preference, I'd say. I personally enjoy my Power PC with an overwhelming amount of macros. But, PS3 players have told me there are multiple ways to configure the controller for appropriate gameplay.

Thanks for the constructive comment. That is great news.

I would say though, that when PS3 players are in a FATE with an overwhelming amount of players, that they have experienced lag issues, up to players disappearing... But hey, that's expected. My music/effects shorts out in bursts in the same occurrence and I dual two Titans.

Ive got another question. Sorry if it is a silly one. Now PC players have a vent that they can talk on. Is there going to be something that PS3 player are going to be able to communicate on?

A vent? To talk, a player still has to download a third-application software platform, such as Ventrilo, Mumble, etc.. and a Guild/FC/Person still has to be paying for the service and invite people to chat on that server. This hasn't changed.

PS3 has no built-in software - I've heard no news of anything either. However, if this is really an issue, it isn't that hard to grab your laptop, or whatever and use a headset (set it to auto-talk, or whatever).

Hell... there is even a Ventrilo app for smartphones (works rather well, actually...)

Sorry, when I said "a vent" that meant Ventrilo. So no built in software on PS3. I assume it is not GAME CHANGING to communicate while playing?

late game, it does.

especially on the harder boss fights, least till you know the mechanics by heart

No, it isn't (assuming you know the boss fights or pick up things quickly)...

I do not agree with this... our Aggro tank for Ifrit Hard had zero problems picking up the fight (1-wipe) and didn't have Ventrilo on at the time, and he plays on PS3...
