Is it worth getting? what happened to the first final fantasy 14? did it just die out?

also when did the game exactly get released, I cant get early access anymore can i

1. Yes, if you not a wow fanboy or ex wow player who had no life on wow. Yes, if you enjoyed ffxi on a casual aspect, not saying this game isnt has hardcore but its a little more solo friendly, which is good.

2. Game was so bad as far as content, story line and everything you can think of, that the entire team got fired, yoshi-p the new person n charge with his new team revamped everything. New graphic engine, new story line, new everything, its completely different. 1.0 players (old ffxiv players) have there own servers, so they cant come to 2.0 servers (the new launch) and mess up economy and so on and so forth.

3. New FFXIV ARR comes out in 2 days the 27th, early access started yesterday. However, phase 4 which was open beta started last week for about 4 days and any progression during that time (with a level cap of 20) was transfered over to final release.

4. I believe you can, seeing as theres about a day n half left. The question is: is it worth getting early access? If your gnna buy the game tomorrow on laucnh... u might as well get it now... save time on downloading the client, you get the bonus items ( which is nothing amazing) and yes u get on early. The downside of early access has been the congestion. I would they have had atleast close to 24hours worth of maint./ or people not being able to log in because worlds (servers) are max to capacity.

so people who were lvl 20 in beta also are lvl 20 during early access or just the final release on 27th?

also can you estimate how many players will be playing? i dont want the game to be dead next month

also the monthly fee do you have to pay right away or?

Lol the game won't die in a month dude
There are so many players trying to get into the servers that the capacity isn't even enough for them all.
Now feel free to imagine how many players that are.


You can pay the monthly fee when ever you want, if you don't want to play for a few months u don't need to pay.
If you decide to play it again, you can just pay it for a month and play it for a month.

1. 20 carried to early access.
2. SE announced they hit over 500k players during open phase which was last week, so yeah, just imagine. Official release will hit close to 1 mil. also wat devor said. Its so packed, its hard to log into servers cus they are over packed.
3. first time u purchase, first 30 days r free, after that, yes u do pay. Like 13-15$ a month.

I purchased the game off square enix, have the order and the order number and all that, but didnt receieve any keys? do i have to wait 24 hours to receive a email with the keys or what?
