Still debating if I'm going to buy it, I don't know if exactly how the game is going to work and don't know how the end game content will be. I may buy it to level to 50 on the characters I like and say ok done. Is there going to be a rare items hard to obtain? What happens once you get 50 and high level items? I hear pvp isn't going to be a big focus...

I think the $40, plus monthly fee is worth it but how is the end game content going to be for the hardcore players? thanks..

Yes. I bought it. It's incredibly fun so far, beautiful graphics, and pretty solid storyline (for an mmo).

For endgame we haven't really experienced it yet (20 was the cap) so everything you can find about it by googling.

To start off, you can find the game online in quite a few places for 30$ and then they give you an additional 25% off or so knocking it down to 22 or so.

Here is a pretty good video explaining what has been announced for the game release end game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bawIPQlqbK8

Check out his videos, I enjoyed them.

As for rare hard to obtain items? I have no clue to be honest, I know it will not be like the FFXI of old.

For PVP, they haven't said to much about it. It will not be available on release, but said it will be the next content patch.

This game is going to be a time sink, the option to level other classes on the same toon and grab abilities from them and take them to your main class.

If you are in US the best deal right now imo is amazon, its 30bux for digital download and they give you a $10 amazon credit after you buy it.

Or use GMG for the 25% off $30 which is alright too.

well i'm going for the ps3 version, buying it isn' the problem. I'm just a hardcore gamer and don't want to go through another d3 moment getting all geared up for it to mean nothing to me, nothing to do with it.

second thing is, i played phase 3/4 and got kind of bored. it was like ok get 15 to do dungeons where the dungeons are fun, but am i just doing to do dungeons until 50? get good items? i hear about raids, is this the end game content? you do a hard quest with a group of people then what?

this is what i didn't understand about d3, if it would of had really balanced pvp that game would of been really good, the point of d2 was to pvp or pvm and make fg

i think the biggest complaint about ff14 isnt that you have nothing to do but too much to do.. aka crafting leveling, no-lockout raid farming, etc. etc... its no wow in terms of unlimited things to do but you still got lots of options for months... perhaps you wont have a new set of tier gear to farm but you can always find stuff to improve your character a little bit

Part of the experience with a MMO
is finding out what there is to do when you get there

Frankly, i dont care what endgame is until i get there.

Lol, I'm sure that's exactly what they had in mind when they created d2. Do you have to play a game only to make fg, or can you enjoy it?

agreed.. if someone is gnna start new games with the intention of making fg all the time, tthen if that game isnt panning out on the fg making, they gnna say the game sucks.
