I'd like to play the first 6 final fantasy games but I don't know which system they are best on.

I know that most of the games I'd have to get Repro carts if I got them for SNES. But I'd like to have the original sound.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know which system is better to play on?

ff1+2 gba, 3-6 snes

I can't recommend the PS1 versions of 4,5,6. The load times in between battles is noticeable, whereas the SNES or DS versions load times are non-existent.

so FF 1-2 GBA and just used my GBA player

Where are the best repro carts located?

3 and 4 were remade for the DS using 3d graphics, 5 I am not sure on and 6 you can get for the GBA as well I think.

Where you can go for the best SNES carts I'm guessing Amazon or E-Bay if you have to go the SNES route, but I can't imagine that being cheap.

don't want hand held versions I hate them unless I can plug them into a tv some how... Games like that need a big screen

I enjoyed 4/6 a lot more on the ps1 than the SNES versions.

Then again I just prefer the Playstation controller over the SNES.
