I bought it for my wife a few years back because she likes 10 and wanted to try X-2. I never picked it up until tonite after a recent play through of 10 and played it for like 30 minutes and shut it off. Seriously is this supposed to be a chick flick game? I'll play it if anyone says it not so girly after the beginning. If not Ill just try selling it.

On a side note I never was interested in playing it because I thought 10 was a pretty self contained story and a sequel would only undermine the originals ending.

The story is not worth shit imo..but the gameplay itself is great..If you are playing it for the story just put the controller down =p

The story is terrible, but it is an entertaining game (not amazing, but decent). The plot is irrelevant because it's all about the sidequests; there's so much stuff to do... people who play this game as a linear story like the other FFs are playing it wrong.

Even though it's set after the events of FFX, don't think about it as a sequel to FFX but rather as a spinoff game.

From what I have gathered, the story sucks.

Story sucks, battle system is awesome. I enjoyed the game because the battle system kicked ass.

I've already given it away but there's no point to playing an RPG if the story sucks. Playing it for the battle system alone is kind of stupid if u ask me. Two each is own I guess.

story was crap but its still better game then 13 and 13-2
