If u like to spend like days non stop playing a game till ur eyes fall out, go and buy this. YOU WILL GET ADDICTED but it will ease off you eventually. This game is so damn long with all these hunts... i still didnt beat the game cause im trying to do all the hunts and minigames///sidequests before even doing the main ones lol.

Eh, the storyline has a bit to be desired but the gameplay is amazing. I'd still buy it.

Gameplay = 9/10
Storyline = 4/10
Character Development = 3/10
Graphics = 8/10
Battle System - 6/10

Total Satisfaction = 7/10

It's a bit lengthy... I like long games but some of the dungeons in this one get a bit monotonous...

If you're going to buy the game, *imo* buy the strategy guide. It'll help a lot when doing hunts and the like so you don't spend hours just searching for the monster.

BTW, and1balla_7, the hunts and such get tough if you don't follow the main ones along with them. The only way to get new weapons/armor is to progress the main quest, and you can't do them all if you don't have access to other towns. smile.gif

Thats a pretty harsh comment. Worse ever.
I presume you didn't like the battle system? Well too bad cause it won't change.....FF13 will be the same style.
It might rate on a low scale for the story line but worse ever? I just laugh at this. I sure can see why some people would think so.
I personally think this is their best game ever........but I can't judge much since I only played FF8 and a bit of FF7.
Or wait.....maybe it was too easy for you so you find this boring.
Try this challenge. LLGIENQNNNDM. (Low Level Game Initial Equipment No Quickenings No Nihopalaoa No Dark Matter) icon_pointl.gif AND GOOD LUCK.
This game is worth buying trust me. You can play this game once through to basically get the general idea, then try and make a Perfecter Game where you make ever bazaar items and every utlimate items.
Then you can try a LLG (Low Level Game or if you prefer 122333)
The NLB (No Liscence Board)
LLG Vaan Solo
Just a Solo Normal game.

Anyhow......I'm sure by now you probably own the game, this posts dates from March 13, 2007.......like 5 months ago.

Its the most in-depth ff ever. took me over 165 hours to clear all quests. 140 just to beat game.

it starts of awesome with great fmv's but gameplay is hard to get at first. after you get a few gambits game play gets easier.
after about 1/3 of the way through its a stoners dream. your chars basically take care of them selves. you can make it so if any chars fall below 50% hp they get healed. same with all status effects and revive.

Im definatly glad i bought the brady guide when i purchased FF12.

edit: 2-4 hunts your are going to need to look up how to do on gamefaqs or something. having to wait for certain weather conditions and having to run through certain areas before a monster comes out gave me an extra 10 hours at least. Brady guide didnt get in depth enough on a few hunts.....
