So i was wandering in the desert, came across a few monsters that could silence. Vaan(main character) was silenced, and now he cannot be cured.
i've tried dozens of echo herbs, save crystal cure, and remedy's, all of which "miss" when trying to apply them to Vaan.

Anyone else had this problem?

If you've touched a save crystal and it didn't clear the problem it sounds like a game bug to me. Crystall fully restore and elminiate negative status effects in my experience.

There is an item, I forget which one at the moment, that you equip as an accesory. It causes your character to be silenced while it is equipped. Check your items equipped to you rchars. That accessory is probably it.

ye its the crystal thingy that halfs all elemental dmg done to u.

yeah i had that too lol, i was like wtf how does he stay silenced, i equipped it on the desert also, its probably the nethecite, around where the tomato guys first appeared when u have to past the sand ocean thing, its an item, unequip it, itll say like the item and then status: silence
