hey you guys, what game out of those 3 do you like better?

I havent played a final fantasy game in awhile and had those 3 games on my ps3 for sometime now.
ive already played an beat ff1,2,3,4,5,6,7. was trying to play an beat them all in order. but now im just going to play whatever one next.
i'd play all 3 at the same time an rotate games, but im also already playing a few other games an i dont have time for too much more stuff.

These are the best 3 games in the series imo, so you can't go wrong with any of them.

My favorite game in the FF series is definitely Tactics though, it has the most engaging story and the most interesting characters. If it were me, I'd go with Tactics or 8. And if you are going for order, Tactics is next after 7 anyways in terms of release dates.

I'm having a blast playing them in chronological order; tackled VII, then VIII and now working on IX. It's been years since I've played any of them so it's fun now, being a tad bit older, to see the progression and change of direction with each title. I'm always on the Tactics bandwagon as I think it offers a storyline wholly unique to the franchise but VIII and IX are so well done that they shouldn't go collecting dust.

Cant comment on tactics but I personally didnt like 8 I found the story sort of died and got long winded (may just be me and I was alot younger when I played it)
9 was fun all the way through as far as I got (didnt complete it as my last disc was scratched)

So id say go with 9

^ A lot of people didn't like 8 because it's the deepest romance out of all the FF games. I actually thought it got more interesting when things headed to space(and towards the end), but different strokes for different folks.

same here, I loved the story

personaly the part I liked least was the gameplay, which is why I don't rate the game as highly as 9,6, etc.

I agree with Lublar in the fact you cant go wrong with any of them. They are all great. The card game in 8 is nothing but amazing lol.

Personally I'd go with 9 though. I absolutely loved the story, loved the chars, and loved the ability system.
