I played FFXI for 7 years. I stopped playing after they started the Abyssea easy mode bullshit. If you haven't played FFXI before, skip it. You're far too late to really enjoy the bulk of the game as most of the good parts are level 75 and below and most people nowadays are just focusing on the higher level content. If you're a returning player, be prepared for a whole different game. It's nothing like it used to be and not in a good way either.
