trying to play a 30 day friends pass and not a clue what to do, ive put in the code online
but when i try and login to the playonline view this pops up

i understand i have to reactive my account, but i dont want it to charge me obv.
i'm trying to use the 30 pass instead, but i forget if i still have to fill it out as if i was going use my credit card

Well, first off, as far as I know, FF14 doesn't use the playonline viewer.

Second, Square Enix moved all their account management system to their website. The game client is still run through playonline, but their billing is done on the website now. You have to go to their website to make a square enix account.

Also, I doubt you can reactivate an account with a 30 day trial, you'll probably have to make a brand new account.

You downloaded FFXI.

The process which takes to setup PlayOnline for FFXI is pretty long...I haven't played it in a long time or else I'd help you with it. If you got a FFXIV pass then you got the wrong game.
