yes, you have to buy final fantasy 14, which you can go to http://store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/en_US/DisplayCategoryProductListPage/categoryID.57606100/parentCategoryID.16256100

looks like FFXIV is $19.99, and currently the price is $9.99 per month. read up @ http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/43218 for additional pricing information

Both cost money. I doubt you'll be able to find any free type servers anywhere for those games.

Its impossible to have free FFXI servers as long as it runs through PlayOnline.
